A small team in Wyoming,
tuning websites for the rest of the country.
We started this studio because we got tired of watching small businesses pay agencies that confused activity for results. We still ship every retainer ourselves, still write every line of code, still publish a single-page report. And we still pick up the phone.
How we run
the studio.
Static is the default.
A page rendered once and served from a CDN beats a page rebuilt on every visit. Always has, always will. We use dynamic where it earns its place, never as a default.
SEO is product work, not marketing work.
Good rankings come from a good site. We don't separate "the build" from "the optimization" because they're the same job done in sequence.
One page, one number, one team.
You should be able to read your monthly report standing up. You should be able to name your account manager. You should know what we're doing this week without asking.
Owner economics. Owner reporting.
We bill flat, monthly, no surprises. Success is calls and dollars, not impressions and clicks. If we're not earning the retainer, you should fire us. And you should be able to, on the first of any month.
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
We publish less than our competitors. We ship more than our competitors. The math works out because nothing we publish gets undone.
A small studio. The same crew on day 1 and day 1,000.
We deliberately stay small. Every retainer is run by a senior generalist supported by specialists in the disciplines below. No junior account managers, no offshore subcontractors, no rotating bench.
Lead engineering
Architects every static build and owns the deploy pipeline. Background in production engineering at a public ecommerce platform.
Senior development
Headless CMS integration, content modelling, and the bridge between design intent and engineering reality.
Design
Owns the design system on every project: typography scale, components, color tokens. Eight years in product design.
SEO direction
Builds every keyword roadmap. Eleven years across two larger agencies before joining the studio.
Content
Writes for humans and structures for crawlers. Former newsroom editor at a regional daily.
Outreach & PR
Earns the editorial links most agencies buy. Background in financial-services public relations.
Account & strategy
Your single point of contact from kick-off to year five. The person you call, not a ticket queue.
Analytics
Owns the data plumbing behind the monthly one-pager. Reports, dashboards, conversion tests.
How the studio actually runs.
Not a timeline. Just the operating rules we've settled on after enough retainers to know what works.
One new retainer a month. Maximum.
We cap intake so every onboarding gets full attention. If we're at capacity when you call, we say so.
Re-build every retainer site at least once.
Within the first ninety days, every retainer client gets the site they should have had from the start. Then SEO compounds on a foundation that can rank.
Publish a one-page report on the first of every month.
No 14-tab Looker dashboard nobody opens. Rank, clicks, calls, dollars, the next three tests in queue. You can read it standing up.
Keep the account manager you started with.
The senior generalist who runs your kickoff call is the one who runs your year-five call. No rotation, no warm handoffs to a new hire.
Turn down work where SEO is the wrong channel.
We've politely declined about one in five prospects. Better for both of us than taking the contract and underdelivering.
Bill flat. Cancel any month.
No escalators, no surprise scope-creep invoices, no termination fees. If we're not earning our keep on the first of the month, you should fire us. And you can.
Want to meet the team? Twenty-five minutes.
The audit call doubles as introductions. Whoever runs your audit is the person you'll work with for as long as you stay.
